Consultation on the choice of boots

So, you decided to buy yourself good shoes, started your search and realised that your understanding of ski boots selection is not enough for you to make the right choice. Your head is spinning; what to look for and where to look is entirely incomprehensible. What to do now? There is a straightforward way to resolve the issue - consultation on the choice and purchase of boots.

The choice of boots always starts the same: measuring the feet and determining the skiing style for which the boots are chosen. You can measure your feet by yourself, which is effortless and does not require anything special. An office printer and ruler is enough.

To measure your feet, download or open

this particular dimension grid template with number "1"

Or here (if the yellow button is more noticeable to you):

print the grid template without scaling. That is, in the printer settings, select this:

After printing, be sure to check the correctness of the printout with a ruler. Control measurements are indicated on the grid. The distance between the lines is pointed to by the arrows. It displays "20 cm." When measuring with a ruler, it should be exactly 20 cm. Measure and photograph only on a correctly printed grid.

Measure the leg while sitting so that there is no bodyweight pressure on the leg. Sit on a chair or any other comfortable seating object, place the net in front of you so that you can place your leg bent 90 degrees on the net like this:

From above, the heel should be clearly and clearly aligned and close the black arc, and not be at a distance from it.

Take three photos:

The view from above should clearly show the foot's length, the foot's width, and the location of the foot's widest point in relation to the heel. The inside view of the arch of the foot should show your flat feet or supination. The outside view should show your instep in relation to the length of the foot.

Attention! Suppose you have pronounced pronation (flat feet). In that case, adjusting the boots before making the supporting insole does not make sense, so we will not be able to provide you with a service. First, you need to resolve the supination of the foot, make an insole and only then take control shots directly with the insole. Without an insole, you will not feel comfortable in your ski boots.

After taking three photos, you need to decide whether you want to purchase boots on your own or to immediately receive boots that are tailored to your size:

Consultation for further self-purchase.

This method is good if you do not have a problem leg with a foot width of about 98 to 102 mm. with a regular instep and when choosing boots, you are more interested in choosing the boot itself, and not the size that fits your foot, and you have shops with a good selection of boots available. In this case, we will select good models of boots for you that can suit you without further fitting for trying on and purchasing.

Consultation on the choice of boots is paid and costs 30 Euros . The consultation includes determining the appropriate type and stiffness of boots for skiing and features of the feet and the selection of five options in the main stores, if available for your size. The consultation is carried out in the application WhatsApp.

Attention! The cost of the consultation is not reimbursed as payment for bootfitting!

Create a chat with the number +79219122268 and write that you need a consultation. In response, you will receive a message with options for payment methods. Pay for the consultation, attach photographs of measuring your feet, describe which boots you want, how and where you ride, what boots you used to have and what was wrong with them. Provide all, in your opinion, important information of the choice.

According to the size of your feet, the specifics of skiing and your wishes, we will select the boots that you should consider and measure. After that, try on what can be tried on and order what cannot. When trying on, be sure to take the liner out of the boot. Then insert your leg (in the sock) into the shell, move your foot forward until your fingers lightly touch the plastic in the front. Look at the gap between the heel and the plastic in the back. This gap should be no more than 1.5 cm. A good ski boot should have a tight fit with a good fixation of the leg. Gaps are not permissible. The boot should press on the leg without pain. Over time the liners will grow thin, and the boot will become more spacious, but if there are gaps between the liner and your foot, it will be sliding back and forth even more, and there will be no control. If you feel pain in some points of your feet, this is not terrible because it can be removed by fitting.

After buying shoes, try them on, and if there are places that bring discomfort and that need to be improved, then:
